General description
ATP-dependent RNA helicase SUPV3L1, mitochondrial (UniProt: Q8IYB8; also known as EC:3.6.4.13, Suppressor of var1 3-like protein 1, SUV3-like protein 1, SUPV3L1) is encoded by the SUPV3L1 (also known as SUV3) gene (Gene ID: 6832) in human. SUPV3L1 is a homodimeric protein in its free, but also exists as a component of the mitochondrial degradosome (mtEXO) complex that is a heteropentamer containing two copies of SUPV3L1 and three copies of polyribonucleotide nucleotidyltransferase 1 (PNPT1). mtEXO degrades 3′ overhang double-stranded RNA with a 3′-to-5′ directionality in an ATP-dependent manner. SUPV3L1 is synthesized with a transit peptide (aa 1-22), which is subsequently cleaved off. It contains one helicase C-terminal domain (aa 353-518) and one helicase ATP binding domain (aa 194-334). SUPV3L1 serves as a major helicase player in mitochondrial RNA metabolism. It is involved in the degradation of non-coding mitochondrial transcripts (MT-ncRNA) and tRNA-like molecules. It plays a role in the RNA surveillance system in mitochondria; regulates the stability of mature mRNAs, the removal of aberrantly formed mRNAs and the rapid degradation of non-coding processing intermediates. Application
Anti-SUPV3L1, clone 2F5 ZooMAb, Cat. No. ZRB1065, is a recombinant Rabbit monoclonal antibody that specifically targets SUPV3L1 and is tested for use in Affinity Binding Assay, Immunocytochemistry, Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin), and Western Blotting.
Western Blotting Analysis: A 1:1,000 dilution from a representative lot detected SUPV3L1 in K562 and PC3 cell lysates.
Immunocytochemistry Analysis: A 1:100 dilution from a representative lot detected SUPV3L1 in PC3 cells.
Affinity Binding Assay: A representative lot of this antibody bound SUPV3L1 peptides with a KD of 1.9 x 10-6 in an affinity binding assay.
Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) Analysis: A 1:100 dilution from a representative lot detected SUPV3L1 in human small intestine and human testis tissue sections.

Physical form
Purified recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody IgG, lyophilized in PBS, 5% Trehalose, normal appearance a coarse or translucent resin. Contains no biocide or preservatives, such as azide, or any animal by-products. Larger pack sizes provided as multiples of 25 μL.
Preparation Note
Recommend storage of lyophilized product at 2-8°C; Before reconstitution, micro-centrifuge vials briefly to spin down material to bottom of the vial; Reconstitute each vial by adding 25 μL of filtered lab grade water or PBS; Reconstituted antibodies can be stored at 2-8°C, or -20°C for long term storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaws.
Reconstitute lyophilized antibody pellet with 25μL of ultrapure water or Phosphate Buffered Saline (PBS). Please refer to our reconstitution protocol and the specific application guidance on the suggested starting dilutions and sample type.
