Ginsenoside Rb2, a steroid glycoside found in Panax ginseng, demonstrates diverse biological activities. Exhibits adaptogenic properties, functions as an antioxidant, possesses anti-inflammatory, antidiabetic, antitumor, anti-osteoporosis and antimetastatic characteristics, provides neuroprotective effects, and acts as an immune modulator. Ginsenoside-Rb2 exerts modulation on various signaling pathways, including PI3K/Akt, MAPK, Nrf2/HO-1, Wnt/β-catenin, and AMPK pathways. Additionally, G-Rb2 activates SIRT-1 while antagonizing P2Y12R.
