I4.05 is an inhibitor of α-synuclein aggregation that bind the catalytic sites on the surface of the aggregates (KD = 68 nM at pH 4.8 and 13 nM at pH 8.0 (binding to the pocket on the αS fibril)). It works against varies patient-derived fibrils, which is in variance to Anle-138b that accelerated aggregation. I4.05 was discovered by machine learning strategy.
