General description
巢蛋白/NES属于中间丝（IF）蛋白家族的成员。在未成熟的神经上皮和祖细胞类型中发现其表达。这个240 kDa的蛋白质包含最短的头部结构域（N末端）和一个长的尾部结构域（C末端）。巢蛋白位于人染色体1q23.1。
Immunogen
该合成肽与KLH偶联，其对应于小鼠巢蛋白的C端序列。该序列在大鼠巢蛋白中是相同的。
Application
抗-巢蛋白（C端）抗体可用于免疫染色分析。
Biochem/physiol Actions
巢蛋白/NES在调节中间丝的组装和拆卸中起主要作用，进而帮助细胞与其他结构蛋白一起重塑。
Physical form
