General description
β-肌动蛋白是所有人类细胞类型中的一种非肌肉细胞骨架蛋白，参与细胞运动性、结构和完整性。 人体内有六种不同的肌动蛋白亚型。β-肌动蛋白抗体在研究 β-肌动蛋白的细胞内分布以及细胞骨架的静态和动态方面提供了一种特异性且有用的工具。
ACTB（actin β）基因编码 β-肌动蛋白。它是一种细胞骨架管家蛋白。存在于细胞质中。该基因位于人染色体7p22.1。
