General description

抗Myocardin 特异性地识别人、大鼠和鸡 myocardin （(MYOCD).）。Myocardin由定位至人类染色体17p11.2上的基因所编码。它包含保守的SAP（SAF-A/B、Acinus和 PIAS）结构域，参与调节核组织结构、染色体动力学和细胞凋亡。编码的蛋白以精确发育调节、谱系限制性模式在胚胎以及出生后发育过程中表达。

Immunogen

一种相应的 KLH 偶联的人心肌素内部序列对应的合成肽。相应的的序列在人心肌素亚型 2 和大鼠及小鼠中相同。

Biochem/physiol Actions

Myocardin（MYOCD）可作为血清应答因子（SRF）的重要平滑肌和心肌特异性转录共激活因子。它在平滑肌细胞（SMC）分化中起着至关重要的作用。编码的蛋白调节骨形态发生蛋白10（BMP10）表达，是心脏发育、心肌细胞存活和心脏功能维护所必需的。MYOCD 表达与动脉粥样硬化、阿尔茨海默病的发展和恶性转化有关。
