General description
Cytokeratin 4 or type II cytoskeletal 4 (CK4) is an intermediate filament protein in simple epithelium, transitional epithelium, non-cornifying squamous epithelium, and their derived tumors. CK4 is highly expressed in squamous cell carcinomas derived from several non-cornified stratified epithelia.

Synthetic peptide derived from N-terminus of human cytokeratin 4 protein.
