General description
胃泌素I酶免疫分析（EIA）试剂盒是一种基于竞争酶免疫分析原理的体外定量检测胃泌素I肽的方法。
胃泌素是一种在人体胃肠道区域释放的肽激素。它是由胃和十二指肠中的G细胞特异性产生的。在胚胎发生过程中，仅在胰腺中观察到胃泌素分泌。胃泌素也位于肾小管。GAST基因定位于人染色体17q21.2。

Biochem/physiol Actions
胃泌素负责上皮细胞的增殖和分化。胃泌素调节壁细胞分泌胃酸和维持胃所必需的生长因子的作用。胃泌素维持钠离子稳态，控制血压。在体外和体内分析中，缺氧条件可能会提高癌细胞中胃泌素激素的表达，从而促进血管生成。
