General description
FOXO1（叉头盒O1）是由定位于人类染色体13q14的基因编码的。编码的蛋白质是转录因子，是Foxo亚家族的成员。

Biochem/physiol Actions
FOXO1（叉头盒O1）可阻断胎儿胰腺祖细胞中细胞的分化。它控制脂肪细胞的分化。FOXO1参与葡萄糖-6-磷酸酶（G6p）表达的胰岛素调节。此外，该蛋白通过诱导生长停滞和凋亡在肿瘤抑制中起着至关重要的作用。
