General description
Ring finger protein 146 (RNF146, Iduna) is a poly(ADP-ribose) polymer binding and PARsylation dependent E3 ubiquitin ligase which ubiquitinates proteins for degradation by proteosomes. RNF146 is neuroprotective due to its inhibition of Parthanatos via binding with Poly(ADP-ribose) (PAR). RNF146 regulates Wnt signaling via ubiquitylation of auto-PARsylated tankyrase.

Application
Anti-RNF146 polyclonal antibody is used to tag ring finger protein 146 for detection and quantitation by Western blotting and in plasma by immunohistochemical (IHC) techniques. It is used as a probe to determine the roles ring finger protein 146 in Wnt signaling and neuroprotection.
