Biochem/physiol Actions
乳腺癌敏感性基因 BRCA1 * 位于第 17 号染色体（在 q21 处），并且在大多数遗传性乳腺癌中均发生了突变。 编码区域内的突变发生在整个基因中，几乎没有明显的聚集。 大多数 BRCA1 突变会导致 BRCA1 基因产物缩短，从而需要氨基末端标记。 抗体 MAB4132 识别乳腺癌细胞系中 BRCA1 的全长和突变（缩短）形式。 它还可以识别瞬时转染的 Cos 细胞中过表达的蛋白质。 免疫沉淀后还可以看到大约 27 kDa 的单个交叉反应蛋白。 没有检测到其他交叉反应蛋白。
BRAC1 分子量为 220kDa。
