General description

氨基酸瓜氨酸是肝脏从氨中解毒所必需的，氨是人体氧化的废物。瓜氨酸促进能量和帮助免疫系统。这种不寻常的氨基酸是在尿素循环中通过向鸟氨酸中加入二氧化碳和氨而形成的。接着与天冬氨酸结合形成精氨酸琥珀酸，然后被代谢成氨基酸精氨酸。
