多巴胺D2受体是多巴胺的五种类型（D1至D5）受体之一。该受体的活性由抑制腺苷酸环化酶的G蛋白介导。据报道，D2多巴胺受体有2种亚型，在垂体和脑中表达的亚型1和亚型2；在尾状核中，亚型1的表达是亚型2的七倍。

经验证，该抗多巴胺D2受体抗体可用于ELISA、IH、IP、WB检测多巴胺D2受体。
蛋白质印迹：
1-10 µg/mL（化学发光技术）D2的预计大小约为50 kDa。然而，大约68和100kDa的额外条带和其他条带通常在各种组织中可见（Boundy et al. 1993; Sakata et al. 1992; Farooqui et al. 199; Farooqui & Prasad 1992, BBRC; Brock et al. 1992; Farooqui & Prasad 1992, Life Sci）。应加载约100-400 µg膜蛋白/通道，以可视化各种条带。
免疫组化：
上一批次的多聚甲醛固定切片为2-10μ g/mL。
免疫组化：

Biochem/physiol Actions
对多巴胺受体D2短型和长型具有特异性。已知多巴胺D2受体以短型（D2S）和长（D2L）型存在，它们由单个基因的剪接变体编码，并且仅在细胞内细胞质环3中存在另外29个氨基酸而有所不同（1）。D2L受体是446aa，G蛋白偶联和跨膜受体蛋白（2）。免疫原肽与其他多巴胺受体（D1和D3-D5）没有显著同源性。
